Thursday… Had a phenomenal workout today! I headed back home feeling exhilarated! Pumped! Not ready to do cartwheels or anything, but very noticeably energetic and charged. I was a bit surprised by that… I had a doctor’s appointment on Wednesday and got some work done on my shoulder. I expected to be sore from it, which usually makes me a bit leery that I will ‘disturb’ it, when I workout. So glad, all went well… no pain and I got in a really good workout. Things are progressing nicely with my shoulder.

Of course, Mark the Trainer is well aware of my injury and he is constantly ‘checking in’ with me throughout my workout, to be certain I’m not experiencing any pain as a result of the exercise. I personally think that my work at Overload Fitness is helping to rehabilitate my shoulder injury. Along with my doctor visits, working out has actually made the area stronger and improved my range of motion. And mind you, this is an injury that is over 4 years old. I had simply learned to live with limited movement and occasionally having to take pain killers to deal with it.

Before I began working out at Overload Fitness and getting therapy for my shoulder, I was taking prescription painkillers at least 5-6 times a week. I currently take them, as needed…which amounts to once a week, immediately following a doctor’s appointment.

Anyway… Tuesday will be my final weigh-in/measurement session for this challenge and I’m actually looking forward to it! I know that I’m down even more pounds and inches… can’t wait to see just how much!

Today’s Little Discovery: I’m jogging up and down the stairs again at work. No joint creaks, pain etc. Amazing…
