Crocktoberfest rolls on today with a recipe sent in from Listener Lori! Try this Chicken Fajita Dip at your next get together – or at home with the family!
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 12oz bag frozen three pepper and onion blend
- 1 packet Fajita seasoning
- 8 oz cream cheese (I use reduced fat)
- ½ c sour cream (I use fat free)
- ½ c shredded Mexican or taco flavored cheese
Preparation
- Cube raw chicken
- Cook chicken and frozen peppers/onion in a skillet sauce pan until chicken is cooked through, drain and return to pan
- Chop chicken and peppers to desired size
- Add packet of fajita seasoning and mix
- Add cream cheese, sour cream and heat through
- Add cheese, stir and heat until melted
- Transfer to small crock pot and serve with tortilla chips
