Independence Teenager Joyce Grendel was all ready for her prom. Except for one thing: her date bailing on her at the last minute. When one of her friend’s cousins said he could no longer take her to prom, Grendel took to Twitter and did something pretty daring.

She has been a fan of Cleveland Browns player Joe Haden for a while now, so she logged on to her Twitter account and asked Haden:

“Hey Joe would you consider going to my senior prom with me because my date backed out and didn’t go”

Haden got the tweet and responded fairly quickly, asking when and where it was. Before she knew it, prom had arrived and Joyce was being picked up by Haden in his Lamborghini.
