Let’s not let this Memorial Day weekend come and go without acknowledging the heroes in our world. The grilled chicken and burgers are a wonderful addition to this three day weekend, but more than amazing sauce slathered all over the ribs, it is the thought of those who have served and died for our freedom.

Many families can not be together this weekend. There are many wives, daughters, sons, parents who have lost or are away from their loved ones. If that is your situation, our thoughts go out to you today and always. Thank you for the sacrifices you have made.

Odds are great that we all know at least one veteran, that we all are connected to someone who will be without their loved ones, someone who will spend the weekend remembering. Please use the time and space here to share your stories, your thoughts, your messages to our great military men and women – and the families without them.

Our flag waves in salute to those who gave all this Memorial Day Weekend!
