Ever wonder what it’s like to be blind? You can get a quick and poignant lesson at the 7th annual White Cane Walk to benefit the Cleveland Sight Center. Not only is the event a fundraiser, it is also meant to raise awareness of the White Cane law, which is meant to protect people with visual impairments. Trapper Jack is the Master of Ceremonies at the White Cane Walk, which takes place June 9 at a new venue.
After six years at Crocker Park, the event moves east to Legacy Village. Trapper talks about all the ways in which the Cleveland Sight Center has helped him. He is joined by the Chairs of the White Cane Walk, Judy and Lloyd Miller, who are grandparents to another client of the Cleveland Sight Center.
