From Jen And Tim In The Morning 5:30 – 10:00

Would you watch this? Friday night on ABC Nick Wallenda will walk a tight rope across Niagara Falls live on television. Wallenda comes from a long line of wire walkers, and is “thrilled” to be able to perform this stunt. Which has been BANNED in the falls for years.

Wallenda will walk from the U.S. to Canada across a 1,550-foot tightrope, suspended 173 feet above the falls. He’ll be crossing the Horseshoe Falls, the two largest and fiercest of the three Niagara Falls.

This has been banned for 128 years, but after much lobbying, Wallenda scored special permission.

The Niagara Parks Commission unanimously passed a bill saying that it would not allow any stunts except for this one, only once in a generation. The Flying Wallandas are a long line of tight rope walkers, Nick is actually seventh generation.  If your wondering if the show is safe for your kids, it is, Nick will be harnessed in.

The show airs tomorrow night on ABC starting at 9.
