In case you haven’t heard by now, King James is no longer ring-less (something that Cleveland fans are still mourning). And now that he finally has his ring he is everywhere, which is why he appeared on Letterman last night.
LeBron was making his fifth appearance on the show last night, and when he walked out he received a standing ovation. It’s not really a surprise though that Mr. Letterman did not let LeBron off easily, especially because when LeBron left Cleveland, Letterman was one of his critics.
He even tells LeBron during the interview that he “thought all the pieces were there” with the Cavs, and opens the interview with asking if he is “ready to go back to Cleveland” now that he has won a title.
LeBron however was not giving anyone a straight answer. He dodged Letterman’s questions and jokingly said “Dave I thought we were friends!”
You can watch a piece of the interview from Letterman’s YouTube channel below. What do you think about The King’s demeanor?
