Throughout the years there have been plenty of news stories that have been the most memorable. What are some of these memorable moments?
Sony Electronics and the Nielsen television research company conducted the survey. They ranked TV moments “for their impact not just by asking people if they remembered watching them, but if they recalled where they watched it, who they were with and whether they talked to other people about what they had seen.”
September 11 was twice as impactful as the second-ranked moment, which was Hurricane Katrina.
Here is the top 3 most memorable events:
1. September 11, 2001
2. Hurricane Katrina
3. The O.J. Simpson verdict
Men and women agreed on the top 3. After the top 3, men and women have their differences. For example, women ranked the funeral of Princess Diana as the fourth most memorable event.
For the complete list you can see it on the Washington Post. Do you agree with this list? Do you have a memorable moment?
