We all dread going to bed at night during the summer. We should be able to get a good night sleep without having to be uncomfortable thanks to the heat.
A British furniture company, Feather and Black, did a survey to find out how people keep cool in bed during the summer. Here are the top five responses:
1.) 42% open the window
2.) 25% switch to lighter bedspreads
3.) Sleep naked. Guys, however, are more likely to do it: 26% of men will strip down compared to 16% of women
4.) 11% of people wear lightweight cotton pajamas or nighties. Women are three times more likely than men to wear skimpy clothes to bed (I didn’t know men wear skimpy clothes to bed).
5.) 1% keep cool by switching to satin sheets.
I just leave the air conditioner on all night. How do you beat the heat?
