Hotel Replaces Gideon Bibles With 50 Shades Of Grey (Poll)

The Damson Dene Hotel decided that times are changing and so must the books in their rooms. The retreat in England has replaced all the Gideon Bibles normally found near the bedside with the currently popular E.L. James novel “Fifty Shades of Grey”.

Innkeeper Jonathan Denby said on his blog that the decision was about providing a book his customers would want to read:

“Tonight millions of women will be curling up in bed with a good book and you can bet your life it won’t be the Bible. More likely than not it will be Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Good old Gideon will be available at the front desk for anyone who requests a different bedtime story.
