It’s summer and we all know what that means…VACATION!!!!!!! You are so excited to be going to the beach with your significant other. The next thing you know is that you are fighting. Are you fighting about something that is on the top 10 list of why couples fight while on vacation?

Going on a vacation as a couple is an important milestone. If you can survive the vacation, that is a good sign for your relationship. According to a recent British survey there are 10 reasons on why couples fight while on vacation. Here is the top 10:

10.) How much money to get and where to get it.

9.) Making it to the airport on time.

8.) How much you should spend.

7.) How long it takes for you to get ready for dinner.

6.) How much you pack. Too much for the ladies and not enough for the men.

5.) Getting lost while reading a map (HINT: It’s called a GPS).

4.) How much you should drink.

3.) What time and where you should eat.

2.) Activities: Women just want to lounge in the sun and men want to get up and go.

1.) Men checking out other women.

To be honest, I believe that this list can pertain to families going on vacation as well. I just got back from vacation with my mom and brother. I will say that my brother and I argued about how long it took for me to get ready. After a long day at the beach (five hours), I was really hot, had a really bad sunburn and it was time to get ready for dinner. I was taking a luke warm shower and it felt good on my sunburn. My brother kept telling me to hurry up. If I saw this list before I left for Cape May, New Jersey, I would have shown it to my brother and said that we can’t fight about this stuff.

Have you fought with your significant other while on vacation? Let me know what you think.
