This year will be a special one for the Cleveland National Air Show at Burke Lakefront Airport. It coincides with Navy Week Cleveland.
The stars of this year’s Air Show will be the U. S. Navy Blue Angels. And because the Navy will be in Cleveland commemorating the bicentennial of the War of 1812, there will be ships from the U. S. Navy, The U. S. Coast Guard, and the Canadian Navy on display along the shore of Lake Erie.
The economic impact of the Air Show is significant. Visitors, vendors and local residents spend more than $7 million dollars every year in Cleveland during the run of the show.
The 2012 Cleveland National Air Show takes place September 1, 2, and 3 at Burke Lakefront Airport. General Admission tickets cost $21 for adults, $14 for children. You can get a $2 discount if you buy them at Discount Drug Mart.
