From Cleveland Connection

Adam Pervez, a graduate of Strongsville High school, gave up a six-figure salary to serve others. He travels the world, pitching-in where he can, and relying on the generosity of others for food and shelter.

But he is also helping Wigs for Kids, a local organization raise funds.

Adam calls his globetrotting the “Happy Nomad Tour.”  He was bald when he started his career as an international servant, but is now growing his hair for Wigs for Kids, a locally-based charity that helps children with cancer keep their self-esteem when they lose their hair.

Adam hopes to raise $1,000 for every inch of hair he grows.

Wigs for Kids founder Jeffrey Paul, of Jeffrey Paul Restoring Beautiful Hair, joined Adam when he was in town this spring.  Adam had just returned from a Happy Nomad adventure in Latin America.  He is now in Southeast Asia, where language barriers pose a challenge.  Yet he remains undaunted in his effort to help others.
