Today is “National Grilled Cheese” Day. When I make a grilled cheese sandwich I use mayo instead of butter on the bread and my friend thought this was the strangest thing. With the mayo the bread doesn’t get greasy like it sometimes does with the butter and it crisps up nicely.
My husband read a story about a month ago about a Chinese restaurant and now he refuses to eat Chinese food from a restaurant. I love Chinese food! So, I’ve been making it myself.
Tommy asked me to make Chili today and when armed with the news that it is “National Chili Day” I couldn’t refuse. Chili is one of his favorite dishes to have for dinner, and snack, and breakfast if I’d let him.
